New AC Milan forward Robinho finally opened up to the media yesterday about why he left Manchester City after a lackluster two-year stint at the Eastlands.
Apart from saying both managers during his time there never understood him, the Brazilian also said, "Manchester is a sensational venue for football but an awful place to live ... the winter, the cold and the dark nights. It's very hard for a young Brazilian."
He also added, "I am a special footballer and I need to be happy when I'm playing."
Sounds like a convenient excuse to me for a guy who never should have went to Manchester City from Real Madrid in the first place. He already tried to leave Manchester behind by going on loan with Brazilian club Santos before his Milan transfer took place this summer.
When completely comfortable, Robinho is one of the game's most exciting talents. However, his reputation has suffered a hit after his failure in England, making him seemed like a spoiled brat.
For now, Robinho just needs to shut up and play. He ran back home to Brazil after being outplayed on the forward line by Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy and not warranting a first team spot. To restore his reputation as being one of the top players in the game, he will need to earn a starting berth with the Rossoneri over the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho. That will be no easy task.

Well the baller himself....gone to one of my favorite sides AC MILAN,so you can't blame him...if he was not comfortable ....he would and should move...and so he did.....but he has to earn his reputation back and continue his career with flying colors.....
